Gaza Municipality Discusses Measures and Procedures to Address the Water Crisis During the War of Extermination

Gaza Municipality, in cooperation with the Roya Capacity Development Foundation and the Coalition for Accountability and Integrity (AMAN), held a discussion session addressing the measures and procedures undertaken by the municipality to confront the water crisis during the war of extermination.

The meeting took place at the temporary headquarters of the municipality, with the participation of Deputy Mayor Mr. Tamer Al-Rees, Director General of Planning and Investment Eng. Maher Salem, and Assistant Director General for Water and Sanitation Affairs Eng. Taleb Siyam, along with the Roya Foundation team.

The discussion covered several key topics, including the current situation of the water sector, emergency response measures, equity in water distribution and communication with citizens, and future reconstruction plans.

Participants emphasized the significant efforts made by Gaza Municipality to mitigate the severe water shortage in the city and commended the measures taken to ensure water provision for residents despite the extensive destruction inflicted on infrastructure and water facilities.
